VIAVI 4100 Series OTDR Modules

The VIAVI 4100 Series OTDR Modules are high-performance, modular optical time-domain reflectometer solutions designed for seamless integration with VIAVI platforms such as T-BERD/MTS-2000, -4000 V2, -5800, OneAdvisor 800, and FTH-9000. These modules enable field technicians to efficiently install, commission, and troubleshoot a wide range of optical network architectures, including metro, long-haul, FTTx/PON, and access networks.

  • SmartLink Mapper (SLM): Provides an intuitive, icon-based view of the fiber link, simplifying OTDR trace analysis and reducing interpretation errors. 
  • TrueBIDIR and Loopback Testing: Enables real-time bi-directional OTDR analysis, delivering accurate loss measurements without the need for post-processing. 
  • Integrated Testing Capabilities: Combines OTDR measurement with optional integrated power meter and light source functionalities. 
  • Automated Batch Testing: Supports automated testing of up to 192 fibers using MPO-based multi-fiber switches, streamlining high fiber count cable projects.
